Free Swimming Lessons for Adult non Swimmers

A new scheme that was trialed in Hackney, is now London wide, launched by GLL and the ASA in 40 swimming pools, Adults can sign up to get Free Swimming tuition with a teacher specially trained to teach adult non swimmers.
Courses will be at various dates throughout the year, you will have to check out your local pool for start dates and times, if your accepted for free tuition. There are up to 25,000 places available on the scheme don’t delay, fill out the form it could change your life.

This is a great scheme but is there a age limit?
There is no upper age limit. Lower age limit is 17.

Checkout GLL it seems the government has stopped funding for this scheme
I am disappointed. I have applied through the gll website application.After around 3 months of silence I tried to call them 2-3 times but no answer. I found their new phone number but also no answer.Sent them an e-mail. Also no answer. It seems like it’s very poorly administer. If this scheme is still ongoing….Doubt it though.
